This Janmashtami, Remember The Cows Krishna Loved
While Janmashtami celebrates Krishna and his bond with cows, many injured and abandoned cows still need food, treatment, and shelter. Helping Hands for Humanity Society rescues these cows and gives them a safe place to recover. One cow arrived after an accident that severely damaged her leg. Her leg had to be amputated, but the team did not know she was pregnant. The very next day, she gave birth to a calf. Despite losing her leg, she continued feeding her newborn, and the calf remained healthy. For cows like these, the shelter is more than a place for treatment. It is a place where they can recover, stay safe, and receive the care they need.
