Nepal is still waiting for answers. 270 people have lost their lives. 826 people are still unaccounted for. And hundreds of families are waiting for news of their loved ones. A devastating flash flood has torn through communities across Nepal, destroying homes, washing away roads and bridges, and making some areas difficult to reach. While rescue teams continue searching for those still unaccounted for, families are left facing fear, uncertainty and loss. For those who survived, the crisis is far from over. Damaged homes, lost belongings and disrupted access to essential supplies have left families in urgent need of food, clean drinking water, medicines and other necessities.
