It was a cold morning in 2021 when Poonam Sharma heard the whimpering. A small injured puppy lay dying on the roadside, ignored by hundreds of passing people. As she held the trembling creature, something broke inside her heart – and something stronger was born.
That single rescue became two, then ten, then fifty. Today, Girshan Animals Care Centre is home to over 200 rescued dogs – each with their own story of abandonment, cruelty, and survival.
The care and the love that Dinesh gives to these hurting monkeys have changed their lives forever. To a point where these monkeys have found their forever home at Guardians of Angels.
Today, these monkeys need a good , better place to live in. They need their medical needs to be fulfilled. Many of them meet with accidents and left on the streets to die. Not just that but a place where they are considered as Gods, they are highly neglected.
The Dream That Keeps Her Going
“I dream of a permanent home where no landlord can threaten them, where every dog can live safely until their last breath,” Poonam whispers, watching a paralyzed dog she rescued last month finally eating on his own.
